To determine the upper fixed point of thermometers and boiling points at barometer pressure. Comprises an upper boiling vessel with a steam jacketed inner tube. A lid with a tubular projection is provided which holds the thermometer in a rubber bung. A side outlet draining tube and a glass manometric tube mounted in a tubular with bung. Made of copper sheet. Size 300 x 75mm dia.
