The bridge is a self contained unit with the measuring range  0.001 to 11.11 mega ohms built in Galvanometer by measuring resistances it contains with 4 decade series dials of 10x1, 10x100, 10x1000 ohms with single ratio dials of 0.001,0.01,.1,1,10,1000 ohms giving multiple ratio.
